DYED MY CARPET AND MATS

i still need to know how to take the carpet off. my carpet looks horrible. no floor mats = dirty as hell.

That is helpful, I've been thinking about doing something like this but didn't know where to start. I found this site that sells the entire carpeting for about $130 (excluding shipping and tax). I would like to try this but only make it either blue or red interior, I haven't decided. Here's what I'm thinking:

If you bleach the whole carpet, maybe there are some spots that didn't turn out the same shades due to stains and what-nots lol. Afterwards, dye the entire thing the color that you desire. I don't know if this process helps but let me know if it does!

i used 4 boxes of rit dye (powder ~10 dollars for everything) and didn't remove the carpet from the car. Just took the center console out and the seats.
looks fine and the dye doesn't stick to the plastic trim around the carpet so you can just wipe it off. it took me around 2 hours do everything.
