Minus the dog, this absolutely solved the problem. Total cost $0. Just had the electrical tape in the glove box for just in case issues anyway.

I've done this twice already, I think the Florida heat is just too much for the electrical tape, next step......JB weld Shifty Eyes1

Same, it worked fantastic for years, but I drove on a 90+ degree day recently and the mirror is just flopping around like an idiot again haha.

Back to square one on this. The Colorado sun/heat is too much. Was going strong for 7+ years but since moving to Colorado in 2015 I just keep running into problems.
