Damn I love my new house!!!
#1
The house does not shake when the washer is in spin cycle, The kitchen is no longer right outside the master bedroom door, the bathrooms actually have privacy. I don't have to look out my windows and see ugly-ass mobile homes... I see townhomes that look like mine and are well maintained, I don't have the sun shining right into my eyes in the morning as the blinds are solid and cover the windows properly. There is no radio mounted in the wall of the kitchen( red-neck *poopy* if I ever saw it)... The laminate floors are easier to take care of than shag carpeting( seriously shag carpeting in a mobile home built in 1993...Makes me glad my old cat pissed all over it). Walls that do not disintegrate if you trip and fall( this happened once or twice at my old house)... A BASEMENT... WITH A FREAKIN BAR!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and I don't have to listen to the bastard children from the other mobile home anymore!!!!!!!!!

My time in the mobile home park, I had seen clothes baskets left out on an OPEN porch for MONTHS on end with trash cans full of dirty diapers... fortunately they had been evicted... Probably the funniest one though were the two butch-lesbians that decided they wanted to live somewhere else, so instead of paying the last month's rent and not wanting to pay the removal fee, decided to sledge hammer their house over course of a week last year... I nearly lost it when one of them hammered something and the debris flew and hit the other one in the head... But it was constant hammering from 7am to 7pm 7days straight... Half the time I wanted to go over there and yell " Put the damn strap-on away and go to sleep"

OH I remember the time a meth lab two houses down was raided by the state police, they actually canvassed the neighborhood asking if people knew anything. Let's see, there was the pedophile who burned down his house so he could collect the insurance money for bail after pleading not guilty to molesting his own children. THEN there was the drug related drive-by shooting that occurred 5 months before I moved out... Let's not forget the guy who claimed to be on disability but was always out working in the yard or down at the dumpster looking for stuff he could sell for a couple bucks... Oh the lady who lived next door to me when I first moved in with the CB antenna on her house, she would get truckers to visit her while they were passing through( nothing like the sound of an idling 18 wheeler next door while she was having sex with them)... Oh and let's not forget the 25 year old guy who got busted for supplying alcohol to the underage girls( under 18) in the park... Or the retarded girl who would ask me to help fix her laptop everytime she saw me out and around... Oh and waking up to the sound of the fire trucks as they put out a grease fire at 3am or an electrical fire at 4am... Or the dumpster where you threw your trash from which the stench would waft down the street and make you gag while eating... Or how could I forget the fact that I had to tow my 1997 Miata because my tags were a month out of date and the guy that had the run-down Thunderbird was allowed to keep it because it had classic tags( this thing is still there and is literally falling apart, he has done NOTHING to this car in the 6 years I was there)... I went back the other day to get my mail and man, I was so glad to be out of there...

Add blinds or curtains to your window especially in the living room area.
